The holidays are a wonderful time full of family, lights, presents and of course lots of fattening foods. Christmas is my second favorite holiday (Halloween is my favorite 😜) due to the joy it brings to so many however it is also super stressful. There are so many things to do at work before you take time off for Christmas. Then there is decorating our house which was difficult due to moving in the spring. Last and most stressful is figuring out all of the gifts for friends and family; I’ve heard it only gets harder when kids are involved.
So what does all this stress lead to? Overeating of course. It is already very easy to over eat when you go to a party with lots of delicious food then you add in the additional stress from holidays and Bam! Before you know it you’ve stuffed yourself to the point of thinking you are going to need to be rolled out of the party. Sadly all this leads to me gaining weight which is the opposite of what I’ve been trying to do. So here’s to getting back on track.
